Chilly breeze and longer nights, trees dressed in brown and gold beneath that pleasant sunshine, it is finally that time of the year when all that bulk of winter-wear lying in the corners of your wardrobe find their way back into your life!
During the colder months we want garments that are rich, warm, comfortable but stylish as well. Velvet is a luxe material that definitely ticks all these boxes. This quintessential 90’s trend has made a come back and I decided to go with a floral printed black velvet set from Clovia’s Winter Wear Collection to step into them winter feels in style! This was my second photoshoot for Clovia and I’ve been loving their garments which is why I really felt the need to put this up on my blog 😀
I styled my super cool velvet set with a pair of black pumps and my favorite pair of sunglasses. Absolutely loved the glamour vibes this look gave me! ❤
The fabric is very soft and comfortable! Additionally it keeps you warm and outfits like these are perfect for winter in Mumbai!
If the idea of wearing velvet dresses makes you shudder, then you can subtly introduce yourself to this trend by opting for velvet chokers, heels, clutches etc. But if you’re willing to give this trend a real try, you could opt for velvet bomber jackets, jumpsuits or light weight rompers, dresses or even kinky knee length boots! 😀
